August

August was a month to remember. Here it is. I have nothing to say. Haha!

Camp hobo

Counselor swim time.

Bored pickle ball player

The first of the goodbyes.

Always twinning because that's what we do best.

Late night at Waffle House. One of the best irrational decisions I've made. Haha!

Memories on Instafilm.

Hot summer days at the farm.

Seeing Jessica a few days after the end of camp.

With lots of coaxing and patience, I was rewarded with the pleasure of meeting Walnut.

Bethany went to college.

A visit to the yurt.

A visit to MN, which will be continued in September. Lydia at the St. Croix.

Lydia, Hannah, and Mom at Hannah and Tyler's little abode.

Hanging with the littlest bro.

God blessed us with a good visit to the MN kids at the end of August. Although, some of it was hard, it was good to see the folks again.

See you in September.

Hello! Anyone There!

Hey, folks! So, I'm taking a break from my month reports to see if anyone is left. I don't have this blog to get followers or a bunch of comments, but sometimes I just wonder if anyone is still around. So, if you're reading this (you're alive), please just let me know. I'd love to hear from you, that you're alive, that you still care about my little old blog, and then you can even give me some ideas about what you like to read or see. So, drop a line, and if you have a blog, I'd love to hear about that as well.

In the meantime, enjoy a BUNCH of pictures I took today with my "new" camera Baxter.

Thanks, friends!

I love the view from above.

More gold or brass or...uh...beech leaves.

From Above...and...

From Below (I, for one, prefer the above)

Someone left his broken down car at our house. Maybe I shall steal it. Because, you know, broken down vehicles are the best, right?

In my adventures through the woods, I came across this beautiful, lush moss.

More Moss

When God dumps gallons of water on top of North Carolina, things turn green whether it's winter or spring.

Sweet Gum Ball

Fantastic Moss

Mountainous

That's what I looked like today.

Old

Faded

A Handful of Rubies

Surprise! More Moss.

And I end on a good note, a picture of some of my favorite trees. Whenever I stand under them and look up, they seem to pointing, stretching their necks to their Creator.

Yay! I guess if you're reading this you made it thus far. Now comment! Haha! Yes, I can be slightly bossy. Just be thankful you don't have to live with me. That's also funny because probably half the people who read this either have or still do live with me. My apologies, sort of.
OK! Good bye!!

July Baby

The most important thing that happened in July was the birth of my first nephew, Addison Moses. He is adorable. Also, Lydia went to Aletheia Springs Education Center for a week, and I had a week off work, which was actually pretty awesome.

A random Camp moment.

I stained my hands with walnut juice, and that week my camp name changed to "Walnut."

Gabriel and Emily with the new baby.

He's so cute.

That's July for you.

Random thought:
All the rain we have been getting here in NC makes me think about how God washes away our sins. I am thankful for salvation in Christ alone. I hope you take daily moments to contemplate Christ's great love for His people.

Happy Rain Friday to you!!!

June

In early June, I shipped off to Camp Caraway for the summer. Thus began a pretty difficult summer; however, God definitely worked through the hardships and brought me closer to Him. Also, I really don't have a lot to show for especially June and July, so bare with me. : /

I made a beautiful butterfly cake that didn't taste like the best cake I've ever had. Haha!

I painted a butterfly.

I also painted this.

I painted a mountain and a hand.

I guess June was an artistic month.

Uh....maybe not...

Me taking a very "artistic" nap.

My room at camp. There were 6 girls in one room! Wowsers!

On one of my weekend brakes, I shot this picture of Lydia. It is actually her reflection in my computer screen.

Ok, so, that's that. Pretty boring, but that's life. June was basically camp training and camps.
