Taliya and Micah

These two pictures were taken at about the same age. I guess they look pretty similar, except Micah usually has his mouth gaping open. 

Sick at Home

Guess what? We finally made it to church last Sunday for the first time since Micah was born. Guess what? Taliya must have picked up some lovely toddler germs at the nursery, so now we have colds. So, guess what? We're not going to church today. We'll hopefully be better next week and go back to church, just in time for Taliya to pick up some more germs. Ugh. The joys of having kids. 

Evening Calm...

With the poor little sick guy, but at least he's happy and chill right now. 

The house is calm and sort of cleaned up, and there's this lovely music playing.

Having two kids is actually pretty trying at times. We've been back from the hospital for three weeks, and I'm still trying to survive. Of course, my body has been healing all the while, so that makes everything more difficult. Today I went to the grocery store with both kids for the first time since Micah was born. It has been miserably cold lately and snowing, so we haven't been outside much. Jacob has been a lot of help. School starts tomorrow. We're a bit of a mess, but that's all good. I'm thankful for my family.

Micah William

Our baby boy was born healthy after a rough labor On December 31. He weighed in at 9 pounds, which is big for me (Taliya was about 6 and a half pounds). We're happy he's here and happy to be home. 

Taliya seems so big and so heavy now.
