Walnuts and Sun

 These are Baxter pictures again.

I tried dying my shirt with walnut juice. I think I have some things to learn.

The light coming through onto the azalea bush was super cool.

These things again glowing in the white evening sun.

The affects of walnut stain on my hands. For some reason, people tend to find this unpleasant. I just think it's cool.

Cows and Their Best Product

Last night I hung out with a friend at the local creamery. The ice cream is pretty much amazing. I got orange creamsical and lemon crunch. Both of them tasted so delicious. I think lemon ice cream is a new favorite for me. Anyway, before my friend got there, I got some phone pictures of the cows. The sunset was also really cool.

On the way there, I drove over the train tracks and thought this was a beautiful picture.

The sunset

The creamery

This little guy decided to say hello.

Man, I love cows!

They're kind of like oversized cats, the way they lick each other like that.

I was trying to capture how big their heads are. They're so huge.

Cow out!

Country Days By the Farm

Lots of yellow

Mmmm...dirt

These days I've been doing a lot more barefoot because I just haven't gotten around to getting new sandals.

I love the little sprout in the dry, cracked ground.

Shadows

Well, have a good one.

A Walk in Late Summer

A weed flower.

We have a lot of these. They are not weeds, but I don't know their name.

These guys decided to bloom again. There will be more flower pictures.

I like pictures of our house with all the trees.

Flame in the woods.

I tried to get the glimmer on the diamond, but I just got a flash of blue. It's really hard to capture glitter in a photo.

A dead pine I have been trying to push down. I have still not succeeded.

Yep. More flowers.

Gravel, sun, and feet.

Leaf glow

Roadside mint

Old dirt dreams

More weeds, I guess.

A bend in the road.

Moss in the sun is very cool.

Yep. I like my country.

I like my cat, too.

There are all sorts of corny things I could say at this point.

😉

Raised to Life

Every time I see these pictures of Lydia "rising from the dead," I can't help but smile or laugh. They are really quite cute.
They were taken on Easter one year, so I think she was supposed to be going to heaven or something.

Here she is, "dead" on the road.

And then an angel or maybe Jesus lifts her up. It's kinda sweet.
