Different Things From My Life

Me painting

I've grown to like our house. I'm kind of looking forward to going home.

We got our first snow a couple weeks ago. Yuck.

Sleepy baby

Taliya's new thing, spreading her legs out like that. It's funny.

I love that we can just walk outside instead of going down three flights of stairs.

Sunday best

I love her monkey face. That's what I call it.

I love her two little teeth.

Haha! There it is again.

The first time Jacob visited our family. We look awkward, but we were pretty comfortable with each other. He's so handsome, but he's gotten even better looking since then.

I love him so much, and he's a good dad.

Thanksgiving

We took a trip down to Knoxville for Thanksgiving. We are actually still here and planning to leave very early tomorrow morning, but right now is a quiet nap time. My poor dear has become sick with a cold, which is exactly what happened last Thanksgiving. Is this what will happen every year? That would be a bummer. Anyway, he and Taliya are sleeping right now, and everyone else is just doing random things.

The family who was here yesterday.

Taliya being cute this morning.

Sleeping this afternoon. So cozy and cute.

That's a good verse.
Poor guy. : (
I hate when my husband gets sick. I feel so bad for him. I feel like men get worse sick.

The Grand Old Oak

There are a lot of things we are not in control of when it comes to our house because we are renting. That include these trees in the backyard. I was very happy to have then, but for some reason the guy who owns the place decided they both needed to come down. That is very sad to me because I love trees, and I was thinking about shade in the summer. Boo-hoo. That's life.

The oak tree especially was so big and beautiful. The other tree was a maple, and I could see it wasn't the healthiest.

The yard seems so sad and bare now. : (

😥

The Cardinals Cardinals

This thing is for Taliya because she likes to look at my shirt. I decided to do number 3 because Albert Pujols is one of my favorite players. However, I'm clearly new to baseball because it turns out that Pujols is #5. Bummer. I could try to fix it, but it might not turn out too well. Oh, well, it gives it a story and character. Anyway, I like it, and it has found a good home above the changing table.

🎆

The Railroad Bridge

Before the weather turned to freezer kind, we went to the river and walked on this cool old railroad bridge. It was turned into a pedestrian bridge a few years ago and crosses the Ohio River from Kentucky to Indiana. I love old bridges like this. The river is so wide at this point and so pretty.

There's a big old ramp that climbs up to the top.

That's Louisville and the highway bridges.

I love the structure of old steal bridges. Stuff made in the Industrial Revolution is just amazing. The sad thing is that apparently over 40 people died in making this thing.

What a huge expanse of water.

Cool stuff. You have a good day now.

Life in the Last Month or So

Like usual, the pictures got all mixed up. Oh, well. Have fun.

My handsome man, and our little girl at a hotel in Louisville. Before we moved here, we came up for a couple days for preview day at Boyce where Jacob is planning to finish his degree.

Cute Taliya

The drive from Knoxville to Louisville has these cool rock walls. I love it.

The stained glass reflections were pretty on this wall.

The window. This is at Boyce.

The campus is real nice.

The hayride at our Knoxville church. We were with Josh and Kara, Jacob's brother and sister-in-law.

Cutey. That was when we were still at the apartment.

Fall at the apartments.

I love colorful Christmas lights.

Jacob being a good dad.

A few nights before we left Knoxville, we had Jacob's family over for games. It was a good time.

Our growing wooden chair collection. I love it.

A walk in our new neighborhood.

Our cute baby.

I love her.
