I was looking back at old posts and came across another favorite pictures post. Therefore, I thought it was time to do another one. I don't know if people like them because they are just full of random pictures that most likely were already posted on this blog. Anyway, I did it, so if you hate it you can just go on with your day. I just scrolled through the pictures I loaded onto the blog throughout the years and picked some of my favorites.
Have fun!
This is not so much a favorite as it is just a picture I see often. It's the first one that pops up every time for some reason. I was at my grandma's beach house.
This is also one of the ones I always see. It's pretty cool though.
This just feels so country, and it is. I love it.
OK, you've probably seen these two pictures a million times, but we actually had a goal in mind when we took them. It was Resurrection Sunday, and so we were reenacting a resurrection. I guess I should say, Lydia had the honor of lying on the road-kill, nasty pavement of our country road to play a dead person. She did a good job of looking dead, too. Yike!
In the second picture she was supposed to be resurrecting from the dead. Honestly, I think it's kind of sweet. That's why I always say these are among my favorites.
Now, this is a picture I copied from the internet, but it is nonetheless, very beautiful.
Also, from the internet, this picture is pretty stunning. I think it might be a lake somewhere in NC.
I copied this picture years ago. I think I had goals of drawing it. I still haven't, but I still have time.
You can easily tell this is not my picture. It's kind of annoying when there is writing all over a beautiful picture, but people do have to claim their work somehow.
I think I probably googled something like, "Mountains in Romania." this is one of the reasons I want to go to Romania.
You probably recognize the bottom picture from the blog. I think I was looking up pictures that would fit well with the blog, and the top one was probably too small. I still like it though because it's moths which are about as cool as butterflies.
An old self-portrait. I don't know what you think, but I think it's pretty cool.
OK, this is everybody's favorite. Micah and Lydia were Birthday pals, and Micah was so funny with her.
Priscilla may have taken this picture. I think it is so peaceful. It's on our road by the creek. It's so cheery and bright.
Who doesn't love an orange sunrise over ocean waves?
A splendid oak tree in our back yard. One of the most beautiful sights.
Ah, country road. Gotta love it.
Haha! This picture amuses me. It looks like the tree is super tiny at top and super huge at the bottom.
What a little girl I was! My word! I also loved that shirt, so it's kind of a favorite picture because of a favorite shirt.
First time aunt. I think I was totally enraptured with Johanna. Also, I was the first of us to hold her. 😛
Jesse-jumping pictures are just great.
Aw, man! This place was superb. California has it's beauty for sure.
What a stinking cutey she was!
OK, you know how I feel about little sisters kissing big brothers: it's absolutely adorable!
Sisters. What else can I say?
Us doing band pictures is one of the most amusing things.
We were doing our best to look so cool while in California the first time we went. I would say we did a good job.
Lydia is the coolest, and she just fit right inside that Jockey's Ridge setting.
I was... not so cool, but the setting was like an emerald bath.
Girls and boy. And Lydia right there at the bottom of the photo--putting her cuteness right in front.
Now this here is an oldy goldy. Between our big family and our neighbor's big family, we filled up a yard pretty nicely.
This used to be a very familiar scene in our home. The older kids were almost always playing cards. So, I like picture because it brings back good memories.
Haha! I saw this picture and just laughed. I don't know why, but it is hilarious.
Picture perfect, even though it's not a perfect picture.
In my element.
Totally at home in a foreign land.
This was a common sight at camp: counselors gathered around at the camp store to chat and enjoy one another's company.
Sisters, smiles, sunshine.
This was the last time I snuggled my older niece, so this is kind of a sad picture. But it also make me very happy. That was a good snuggle.
Niece and cousin: an adorable pair.
A painting a found on-line that captured my eyes.
I always thought this picture of Micah was really cool, but then again, I always thought he was really cool.
Home in winter.
The road in winter. Although it's blurry, this picture has been one of my favorites. It's so country.
I think he's dead now, but good old Bruce was a good dog.
That face! My word, sometimes I wish kids didn't grow up.
Me trying to be a hippy while Lydia is just being herself--a bunch of cuteness.
Lydia in front of a magnificent sky.
The magnificent sky itself.
Beans. I don't know why this is a favorite, but I guess it just goes back to a love for farms.
Just a bunch of beauty.
A child's face, quite a wonderful thing.
The time we got a picture of Anthony smiling. That's why I like this picture so much.
I loved that horse. Some times I thought I was actually building a friendship with him, but he was very skiddish.
Yes, this is an all-time favorite.
I don't know, this picture is simply perfect. Childlike, I guess.
A picture that captures a love for children.
I could have been out on the prairie for all you know. So clear, sunny, warm, bright.
A very cheer representation of our school room.
We'll end on a sunset because that makes sense. Winter trees silhouetted against a winter sunset is a scene I will always love.
Thanks for bearing with me. That was around 60 pictures!!! Too much, too much.
I had fun though, and maybe you did, too.
Do you have a favorite?
