All morning new students have been moving onto campus. The nights have been cooler. I even got super cold last time we went to the creek. Summer in Kentucky seems so short. This picture is one of the things I love so much about summer. There's really hardly anything better than summer evenings at the creek. Sometimes when I'm in the water, I close my eyes and just try to lock that feeling of water rushing over me into my memory.
We have good times here.
How far must you go to get to this creek? I am enjoying the cooler temps too.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably 25 minutes. It's not bad, and it's always worth it because it is so refreshing to be there.
