Random Pictures

She LOVES books!

Broncos Boy

Dad, Mom and Lydia Came For a Visit

First, can someone please tell me why the neighbor kids don't take naps? What happened to nap time, and why has it turned into scream-as-loud-as-you-can for two hours every afternoon? Why is your kid screaming for 45 minutes? Sometimes I really struggle with apartment living.

Mom recently sent me this picture from about a year ago.

A super glamorous picture of Lydia. I'm nice.

Lydia taking a selfie with my phone. I think she just likes being featured on my blog.

I think this picture is cute.

We went for a little hike up a hill where a civil war fort used to be.

Lydia and I had afternoon tea (homemade chai; I finally got more cardomum after being out of it for a while).

My handsome husby. Dad, Mom, and Lydia watched the kids for us so we could go on a date. It was soooooooo nice.

We went down to the river. The wind was so cold, but it was a neat place that we want to revisit.

There was so much driftwood.

Lydia was taking pictures of us.

I'm good at posing.

Micah is so darned cute.

We played some games.

Good times.

Lemon Poppyseed Bread, Bookworm, Cinnamon Rolls, Mass Produced Cows, And More

I don't think I had personally ever made lemon poppyseed bread until last week. It was pretty good.

Taliya can sort of have a ponytail, and I think it's super cute.

Micah might be teething because he loves to chew on things.

Taliya loves looking at books.

We went to a park on a cold, wet day last week.

It was nice to be in the woods.

: )

Taliya loves putting a blanket on Micah, and then patting him and saying, "Nigh' nigh'."

Sometimes I randomly make cinnamon rolls.

A sweet little smile as he drifted off to sleep.

First attempt

Second attempt. I'm practicing for a shirt for Taliya.

I found a HUGE cow farm in Kansas on Google Maps. The green circles show where the irrigation system rolls around. Have you seen those things up close? They are so remarkably ginormous.

The red circles show the section in the next picture.

I estimated over 17,000 cows. When I say I want a cow farm, I'm thinking no more than 100 cows. This scale is a little too much for me.

Anyway, that's it for now, folks.
