Here are a few pictures I took yesterday afternoon. It's getting springy here.
Today was interesting. On the way to Aldi this morning, I hit something pretty hard. So, when we got there, I checked out the tires. Sure enough, the front one was scraped and had a little buldge. Thankfully, we made it home safefully. Jacob missed one of his classes so he could drop the car off to get repaired. He walked back to campus and his other class. As soon as he was done, we all walked to pick up the car. Taliya was rather cranky. We had dinner at the diner. Back home, Taliya was cranky some more, so we sent her straight to bed. Micah was cranky, too. I was cranky, too.
Now, I'm sitting here at the dining table in the dim light coming from the kitchen. The kids are quiet. The fresh baked bread smells up the house. "Beachrunner" by James Last plays a cheerful tune. It's peaceful.
Some days being a parent are rather taxing.
