The Country Life: Why I Love North Carolina

I love North Carolina because it is home to me. It is full of trees, lovely scenery, country roads, and all sorts of good things. So here are some pictures of a beautiful little nook of the world.

Hope you enjoy, and maybe you'll consider visiting us one day.

Pilot Mountain is one of the coolest weird things in out state.

It's super green here in the spring.

What could be more like living in a jungle than being surrounded by green.

Lovely skies

After living in the city, it was fun to get my hands dirty again and work in this garden.

Sparkling sunshine through green stain-glass windows of creation.

Front porch view.

Country roads.

Even the clouds are quite magnificent.

The people are pretty cool too.

Who wouldn't love this place?

Old farm roads.

Enjoyable places for evening walks.

Green, tan, green, blue, white, gray: The picture of land and sky meeting is surreal.

The old barns add a touch of antiquity.

Bruce, the neighborhood favorite.

Rolling hills and quiet fields.

I could live here.

It feels good to be able to walk in peace.

Corn flower

Simple shimmering sunsets.
