Today while the others girls and Mom enjoyed a scroll through Facebook, I went out for a walk in the brisk, clear November day. The temperature was about 56 degrees, the ground warm enough to forget the shoes. I took the camera and was off to picture the day.
This part 1 is almost completely dedicated to close-ups of moss and other little plants. I am taking Biology this year and the authors have made one particular point very clear, "There is no such thing as a simple life form." Even single-celled organisms are extremely complex, I suppose so because the cell itself is so intricate. God is an amazing Creator and master Designer.

First, is a blooming miniature rose.
Some very green moss with a little weed coming out of it.
This is a little moss garden I have in the woods.
Remember this tree from a couple of posts ago?
More moss.
The crystal clear reflection of the the trees in our "Leakey Spring."
Lichen and moss on a decaying log.
Some intricate moss hair.
Now maybe you've seen enough moss...
Here's a squirrel I saw on my adventure.
I love that squirrel on it's hind legs! And I like the tree reflection.
