The Front Gardens
The Left Side
The Right Side
The Back Yard
It has come to my attention that I never finished this post of our yard slowly transforming. This was our first home in Kentucky. There were a lot of problems, but these pictures bring back good memories. I still miss having a yard of my own.
November, right after moving in.
We discovered a bunch of patio.
I miss the trees, especially the big oak in the back corner.
Clearing out the debris.
Clearing out the trees. : (
A new fence coming soon.
Finished.
I tried to fix up the yard and get grass to grow because the workers didn't, even though they said they would. Can you see the little patch of grass there behind us?
April. They finally planted grass.
And the grass grew.
And grew.
My plants grew, too.
The bean and cucumber plants took over the fence.
And it looks like that's it. I hope you enjoyed that. I am also going to finish the front yard post I have.

First Camping Trip This Summer
We took a shorter camping trip this time, and it was extremely slow and lazy (a big reason because we forgot our baby carrier). It actually turned out to be so nice though. It was really refreshing, and I think exactly what we needed.
Taliya finally overcame her fear of water and spent so much time in this creek that ran through the campground.
Micah was enjoying the water, too. We all were.
Camp
Camp dinner
Morning. It gets really cold at night.
There's nothing like instant coffee with instant creamer in a styrophome cup on a cool morning by the camp fire.
Camp breakfast
Cozy with dad by the fire.
That morning cool is all but forgotten in afternoon heat.
Summer
We found a great place to jump into the cool, refreshing water.
Ahhh...so nice!
Lots of water
That's the end. We hope to have many camping trips this summer.
