Some Pictures of a Good Life

Lately,  my posts have been boring, low on pictures, and short. I guess I thought there were no interesting pictures. Of course, even if there were no pictures of all our adventures (we just moved, for crying out loud), there are still pictures of every day life. Recently, Jacob said something along the lines of, "If we're always having adventures, we'll miss out on the biggest adventure of day to day life." The point is that we've been busy with fun stuff this summer, and it really has been fun, but if we're always looking forward to the next big thing, we'll miss out on life, the life God has given us here and now. That sounds cheesy, but we all know it's true. (Also, that was probably a run-on sentence. Also, I got a question wrong on my quiz the other day because I misspelled a word. Haha! That's embarrassing.)

Anyway, here are pictures of random things I haven't posted.

Taliya at the home depot.

One evening, Taliya and I went out on a walk after a refreshing rain. The sky was so blue and crisp as the pluffy clouds rolled away, and everything was fresh and green.

Produce from the garden. As good as the corn looks, it was a failure. It remained chewy and weird.

Taliya helping clean.

The new toybox bench.

Taliya has finally been enjoying the table Jacob made for her before she was even born.

A happy girl with a pancake.

Roaming campus.

Taliya being a model on top of the car.

A very nice truck in our old neighborhood.

Jacob being a very nice Dad.

A cookie, one of the cookies I didn't overcook. Ugh.

This bottle has gone everywhere with me. I'm sure the original drink was overpriced, but maybe it was worth it since it's continued to be put to use for about 7 years I think. I appreciate whatever sibling bought it and let me keep the bottle.

Jacob did this.

A pretty flower in the backyard.

I think this picture is funny, or creapy.

Taliya randomly lies down on the floor. I figure she got that honest from both of her parents.

Trying to show off my baby bump, with has gotten much bigger since then.
