I've never celebrated this holiday before, and I'm sure there's a lot more I could learn about the traditions that go with it and more about the man himself. I'm sure there's also lof of legend that goes with it. Anyway, I thought it looked fun and seemed like a good way to start the Christmas festivities. It is December 6th, so the night before I decorated some (partly to surprise Jacob when he got home from work because he kept bugging me about decorating).
That night we ate some special food we don't normally eat: Soft pretzels and chicken tenders.
