July Flowers

 

I forgot what these ones are called, but they sure are nice. 

Of course, the tiger lilies are always ones we really look forward to seeing. 

Simple, cheery black-eyed susans are some of my favorite though. 

A Gift

 

Jacob is a gift I couldn't have even known how to ask for. 

He's been such a blessing to me over the years, and especially this past year. 

I am happy for the future and happy right now. 

I don't personally think I deserve him, but God knew best. 

Beach

I went to the beach with Bethany and her friend Maria the other day. We really had a blast with those waves. They were nice and big, we rode them for hours. I was still riding them when I went to bed. 

It was a good time. We ate too much salty food and drank too much salty water. We also got a parking ticket. Yep, I guess that means my background checks will no longer be clean. I don't know, maybe I'm a bit dramatic. We also got super sunburned.

Overall, I think one day is enough of the beach for me. But, I had a good time.
