We have had the same old cheap fouton the whole time we've been married, and when we moved into our new house, I decided I really wanted a couch. After a couple months of deliberating, we finally settled on a $250 Amazon couch. Way fancier, haha! I took some before and after pictures of our living/dining room. We really do enjoy our new couch. It does make the space look neater and nicer.
I moved the reading nook to this corner.
