Homemade Chai (College Student Version)

Chai tea in my new tea cup.

This is another recipe for the College cookbook. I got a hankering for chai tea but have not been able to find cardamom. I finally decided to make do with what I have.

1 bag black tea ( I used English Breakfast)
A few pieces of fresh cinnamon
2 or 3 whole cloves
1 star anise
Milk
Water

Heat the water and milk (about half and half). Add tea bag (or loose tea) and spices. Heat more. If necessary, strain out the spices and tea. 
Delish!
